Policies and Procedures

Keys

Please have two sets of working keys ready at the initial Meet and Greet consultation. This applies even if you have an electronic entry (batteries die, the power goes out). Please verify that the keys work in the appropriate locks. Wagmore is happy to retain your key, making future pet sitting and dog walking reservations and last minute emergencies easy. If you would like us to return your key we will do so in person within 14 days of your return. For the safety of your home, pets and our staff, your home must never be left unlocked during any Wagmore service.

Payment

Dog Walking Services— due on or before the first day of service.


Pet Sitting—due within 7 days of booking your reservation.


(Tips are accepted but never expected. 100% will go to your sitter)


Wagmore shall be entitled to recover its collection costs in enforcing this Agreement, including and without limitation, reasonable attorney fees and costs. A 2% monthly late fee will be applied to any late payments. We accept check, cash or credit card through Google Checkout. Please make checks payable to Wagmore. A $30 fee will be applied to cover the cost of any returned checks. Payment can be made online, left for your sitter in your home or mailed (do not send cash) to:

Holidays

There is a 50% increase in fees for services on the following holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Times of visits may be altered slightly to allow staff to be with their families.


Last Minute Reservations

Dog Walking—After 8am the day of service $10 fee


Pet Sitting & Overnight Pet Sitting—Less than 7 days notice $20 fee


Last Minute Cancellations

Dog Walking—after 8am the day of service no refund or credit


Pet Sitting & Overnight Pet Sitting— We understand that unexpected events occur. We would like to offer our clients two options when faced with a cancellation.

Plants and Carpets/Furniture

To prevent accidental water damage, all indoor plants should be placed together on a water proof surface in plain sight. Wagmore is not responsible for any undesired effects to plants. In the event of an indoor pet accident, sitters will use warm water to clean the stain and will mark off the area for further cleaning by the owner. Wagmore is not responsible for any undesired effects to carpets or furniture.

Pet Taxi and Errands

Should your pet need transportation or supplies, we are more than happy to accommodate. Taxi and errand services are $20/hr plus $.30 per mile. Payment for services and supplies is due within 7 days of your return.

Pet Sitter Substitutions

Should a regularly scheduled pet sitter become unavailable, Wagmore will assign another staff member or insured and bonded independent contractor.

Shared Care

To ensure the highest quality of service, we request that Wagmore be the sole caretaker. Wagmore accepts no responsibility for security of your property or loss if other individuals have access to your property or if property is not properly secured during the term of this Agreement. Should responsibilities be shared with anyone else, that individual must leave a log of their visit. Please be sure to stress to this individual the importance of securing the home and pets.
